Welcome to Chamunda. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and your purchase of products from Chamunda Laces ("we", "us", "Chamunda"), trading as Chamunda. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Chamunda Laces operates an online store selling heritage lace, trims, and borders to tailors, boutiques, fashion students, and design studios across India.

2. Products and descriptions

  • Products are sold by the metre or by the roll as stated on each product page.
  • Product images are representative. Lace colour, sheen, and texture may vary slightly from photos due to screen settings, lighting, and manufacturing batches.
  • We recommend ordering a physical swatch before bulk purchase if an exact colour or texture match is required.
  • Specifications (width, material, care) on product pages are provided in good faith; minor batch variation may occur.

3. Pricing and taxes

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise.
  • Prices include applicable GST where indicated on the product or checkout page.
  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price charged is the price shown at checkout when you complete your order.
  • Bulk pricing for orders of 50 metres or more per style may be arranged separately via WhatsApp or email — confirmed bulk quotes form part of your order once accepted in writing.

4. Orders and acceptance

  • Placing an order is an offer to purchase. Your order is confirmed when you receive an order confirmation email from us.
  • We may cancel an order and issue a full refund if a product is out of stock, pricing was displayed in error, or we suspect fraud.
  • We may limit order quantities per customer at our discretion.

5. Payment

We accept:

  • Online payment methods available at checkout (including UPI, credit/debit cards, and net banking, as enabled on our store)
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) where available at your delivery pin code

For COD orders, you must pay the full order amount to the courier at delivery. Refused or repeatedly failed COD deliveries may result in restriction of COD for future orders.

6. Shipping

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy. Summary: we ship within India only; free shipping applies on orders over ₹2,000; estimated delivery is 5–7 business days after dispatch.

7. Returns and refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy. Cut-to-order lace is generally final sale; replacements and refunds apply only for defects, wrong items, or transit damage as described in that policy.

8. WhatsApp and offline orders

Orders placed or confirmed via WhatsApp or email are subject to these Terms once we confirm the order with an order number or written confirmation. Payment and delivery terms agreed at confirmation apply.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is owned by Chamunda Laces or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without written permission.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (including lost profits, wasted material, or project delays).
  • Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, strikes, or other events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law in India.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Surat, Gujarat.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page. Continued use of the store after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
